The one that almost got away.

I’m sure that, amongst the great numbers of photographers who now work with digital images, I can’t be the only one who lets the occasional image just slip down the proverbial side of the settee – if you can imagine such an abstract analogy?

I was working through folders of my latest shoots – part of what is more than likely a well over-complicated work flow which involves moving folders out of the laptop and into remote storage – when I came across an image of Mary which I hadn’t posted.

I think it’s a pretty good image and that the altered perspective works quite well. Also, that really is some smile Mary has – to die for!

... of Mary and Motorcycles

Local girl, Mary, graced the studio a couple of days back and it was a real pleasure to work with her. Mary brought good looks and a terrific atmosphere to proceedings with her great sense of humour, bright smile and contagious laugh. The session lasted just over three hours but felt more like thirty minutes.

A mum of two, Mary is also a VERY keen motorcyclist who espouses the virtues of Suzuki motorcycles with as much loyal conviction as I do with Canon camera’s. Each to his own I suppose but, at my age, I prefer the equipment I use to be very fast, while I stay firmly rooted to the spot!
